Explosive Situation!

One of my favourite games on Facebook is Pepper Panic Saga.  It is quick,  and unlike other games, it is usually possible to pass levels once you have worked out the right tactics.  I enjoy the mental challenge of solving each level and I confess that I really like the exploding peppers...It is just so satisfying and no-one gets hurt...

Sometimes I am playing, and I suddenly realise that what I was doing was not going to help me to pass the level, as I have just been gaily playing the game without taking note of what I am supposed to be doing.  My score may be getting higher, but that is probably not what is required of me!  Immediately I think of times when I have gaily set off following my own plans, instead of finding out what God wants, and then wondering why things don't seem to be going the way I anticipated....

However, like any game on Facebook, there is always another chance, a fresh opportunity to follow the instructions.  The instructions God gives however, are not contained in a neat little box, they are found within his word, and I have to read that and ponder and spend time listening to him if I want to know what to do.  After all God is more than a 5 minute distraction.  He is the creator of everything, and he had a plan to save us, that involved the sacrifice of his only son.

Meanwhile if anyone is playing Pepper Panic Saga I need 2 more people to help me unlock the next level - thanks Sallyann!  I refuse to pay for credits on Facebook. After all the price was paid, once and for all.
